The Future of B2B Content Marketing in the Metaverse | Copy House

A hot topic circulating the internet right now is ‘the metaverse’. What is it? How do we access it? Should we access it? Is there a purpose to invest in the metaverse? Why are brands and people investing in the metaverse? The questions are endless. Although the technology behind the metaverse has been brewing for some time now, the COVID-19 pandemic helped boost consumer and business interest in the metaverse. Many businesses, predominantly in the B2C sector, have seen a massive opportunity in investing in the metaverse. For example, brands such as Nike, Coca-Cola, Pretty Little Thing, Disney and Hyundai have all invested in the metaverse to help push their brand’s marketing efforts further. But where does this leave the B2B brands? How can B2B brands fit into the metaverse, and more importantly, what does the future of content marketing look like in the metaverse? In this month's TechTalks, Kathryn Strachan, Managing Director of Copy House, will be joined by Ben Fryer, of Diverse Interactive, Samuel Hall, of Mixed Reality Rooms, and some other soon to be announced B2B experts within the technology and FinTech space to discuss their thoughts and opinions about the future of B2B content marketing within the metaverse. They will answer the following: -Are traditional content marketing efforts dying with the introduction of the metaverse or is the metaverse just a fad? And should B2B brands invest their marketing budgets in the metaverse this year? -Will long-form content and copywriting exist in the metaverse, or will marketing efforts shift focus to audio and visual interactive content? -How can B2B brands fully utilise the metaverse to help them engage with their audience? -What other forms of marketing should technology and FinTech brands focus on when utilising the metaverse?
